Burton Bulldogs is a small kennel devoted to producing quality puppies in a socialized atmosphere. We devote ample time to all our dogs, not just the puppies. We breed our bullies to produce quality puppies according to the breed standard. It is the love of bullies that started our program and we want everyone to have the opportunity to own one.
REGISTRATION
All bullies at Burton Bulldogs are AKC registered. The puppies are sold with an AKC Registration Application. All bullies are sold as breed standard and with full registration unless otherwise specified in the contract.
CONTAGIOUS DISEASE
Bullies purchased from Burton Bulldogs are guaranteed against Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus and Coronavirus (for which the puppy has been properly vaccinated) for seven days from the date of purchase, as long as immunization is continued as scheduled, by a licensed Veterinarian and normal care is given to the dog/puppy.
CONGENITAL DISEASE
If the dog/puppy dies within one year of age from a congenital defect that is not within the breed congenital conditions, not here-to-fore called to your attention or sold "AS-IS" at a reduction, the dog will either be replaced with another dog/puppy 100% or at a percentage according to the conditions involved. (MY CHOICE) If a replacement dog is ever required I will provide one as soon as I have one of equal quality and value available. If the dog/puppy dies within the first year, to obtain the right of this contract, an autopsy will have to be performed at a lab of my choice to determine if a replacement puppy is due to fulfill the contract. The buyer is responsible for shipping charges when necessary and for shipping of the replacement animal. Under NO CONDITION will I replace a dog, where I was not advised of its being ill beforehand, or "put to sleep" without my permission. A good website for reference to bulldog malformations and possible health issues is http://bcahealth.homestead.com/conditions.html Due to poor breeding practices of individuals in the past and the current, the breed is plaged with congenital problems that are unfortunate. I screen the breeders I have and only select those of whom are healthy and should produce healthy puppies. I have taken the time and effort to make sure I am helping the breed, so I am very confident that you will have a healthy puppy, but some unforseen genetics can arrise from the past at any time.
RELINQUISHING OWNERSHIP
I will allow one week for the dog/puppy to be returned, in the same condition as at the time of sale, for any reason with one half refund of purchased price. The buyer will have the dog/puppy examined by a Veterinarian of the buyer's choice. If a dog/puppy should develop an infectious disease within ten days of return, NO refund will be given. Shipping is the responsibility of the owner.
Burton Bulldogs agrees to take back any dog/puppy (with all necessary paperwork), at any time after warranty expires, at no cost to Burton Bulldogs, if the new owner is unable to keep it. This will insure that the dog/puppy's future welfare is not jeopardized by being in a home where it is not wanted or placed in a shelter.
Additional Info for future litters
Deposits of $300 will hold your picking order before a litter arrives. Once a puppy has been selected, further payment may be necessary to continue to hold your puppy. The best way to ensure you have a puppy is to place a deposit. Deposits are refundable until the puppies are 6 weeks old, at which time the deposit can be refunded or transferred to another litter. After the puppy reaches eight weeks of age, deposits are not refundable due to any reason. Please, if you are unsure, do not put a deposit on a puppy that someone else is wanting to love and to get in a timely mannor. We can accept paypal, credit cards per phone conversation along with a fax signature or postal money orders by snail mail, money wire or bank wire to a checking account. We would love to put a bully in your home!
